On Tuesday 3rd March, 5th class attended a brilliant workshop in WIT. It was hosted by Fergal O'Hanlon, a senior lecturer in the Dept. of Electronic Engineering in WIT. The boys explored how electricity works, the flow of current, voltage, conductors and insulators. They also made their own electrical circuit and they made a 'Brush Bot'. It was hugely educational and the boys learnt so much in a 'hands on' constructivist way.
